Hello!

Tristen here.

I’m a UX designer, musician, and photographer hooked on chasing a feeling and creating things that connect with and empower people.

Fueled by chaos, the hope of a better world, and a whole lot of matcha.

A note about my work

I’ve spent 9 years in federal consulting and have led and contributed to 10+ projects, with over 6+ years specializing in UX design.

Some of my work includes:

Design systems

Visual design

User research: Workshops, interviews, journey mapping, etc.

Agile collaboration and design audits using dev tools

Inclusive and accessible design

Design strategy and team leadership

Web application prototypes

Large-scale enterprise and agency platforms

Usability testing

Wireframes and user flows

Most of my work is sensitive and can’t ever be shown on a portfolio, but I’m always happy to chat about my experiences.

In the meantime, I’ve curated Project 1 (confidential platform) and Sidewalks to give insight into my design approach.
